Khaw Veon Szu is known as a trusted business and intellectual property lawyer.
Khaw runs a boutique legal practice that focuses on helping clients, SMEs and MNCs, sealing business deals and protect their legitimate business interests.
Khaw specialises in Startups and Business law, Housing and Strata Management law, Intellectual Property law and Estate Planning and Administration law. He has vast experience in undertaking solicitor works and performing advocate roles in the above areas of legal practice.
Khaw graduated with an LL.B (Hons) from University Malaya in 1996. He was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 1997. He is also a registered trademark agent.
In the past 12 months, Khaw has presented more than ten educational programs to businesses about Intellectual Property laws, Strata Management, Franchise Law, Estate Planning and Employment Laws.
He also writes articles on socio-political and current issues for the Edge Malaysia, Guang Ming Daily, and other media outlets.

Ms Yeop Ming Ming obtained her Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of London in 2018 and Certificate of Legal Practice in 2019.
She was an attachment student at a Penang-based law firm during her third year at law school before joining Zaid Ibrahim & Co. (Penang) as a Trainee Associate in 2020. Upon completion of her pupillage, she joined Messrs. Veon Szu & Kok Thye as Legal Associate.
With a keen interest in a diverse range of litigation matters, Ming Ming ‘s areas of practice cover Civil, Commercial and IP litigations, Strata Management Law, Judicial Review proceedings, Debt Recovery and enforcement proceedings.

Ms Lim Jin Yee completed her Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of London in 2019 and Certificate of Legal Practice in 2021.
During her first year degree in 2016, she was an attachment student with a Penang’s law firm Ghazi & Lim Advocates, gaining practical practice experiences on conveyancing matters. While pursuing her law degree, she interned in S.T Ooi & Associates to do accounting and auditing matters. Besides, she have been exposed to Taxation matters as well. With different exposure to various fields of commercial practices, she is keen to better understand and solve them.
After her admission to the Bar in March 2023, Jin Yee was retained by the firm as legal associate. She has been entrusted to supervise the firm’s Startup, Corporate and Tax practice, Conveyancing matters, and Employment and Workplace Law.

Ms Athira Nabihah completed her Bachelor of Laws at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) with a First Class Honours degree in July 2022. During her third year at law school, she interned at a Penang-based law firm for two months. In April 2022, she received a Certificate of Mediation from The Accord Group Australia, allowing her to act as an accredited mediator.
Ms Athira Nabihah joined Messrs. Veon Szu & Kok Thye (George Town) as pupil-in-chambers under the tutelage of Veon Szu Khaw in February 2023. She is keen to explore diverse legal practice areas during her 9-months chambering period.

Ms. Yeoh Ke Qin completed her Bachelor of Laws at Universiti Malaya (UM) with a Bachelor’s Degree With Honours (With Distinction) in July 2023. During her third year at law school, she embarked herself on internship programme at a Penang-based law firm. As the final chapter of her university journey unfolded, she participated in the Legal Aid Clinic UM where she immersed herself in a myriad of cases, particularly in the domain of commercial and contract law.
Ke Qin joined Messrs. Veon Szu & Kok Thye (George Town) as pupil-in-chambers, eagerly learning the ropes under the expert tutelage of Mr. Khaw Veon Szu in November 2023. With a burning curiosity, she is set to explore a dynamic array of legal practice areas throughout her keen to explore diverse legal practice areas during her exciting nine-month chambering period.
